Founded in August 2015, Helicon is a cooperative environment that aims to promote the arts and entertainment of local and international artists alike.

The first three releases were released in the spring of 2016. Our first releases are music, but we plan to follow up with works within the comics, graphic art, literature, and whatever else fits into Helicon's profile. We are not predetermined in terms of forms of expression or genres, but instead go for Helicon to stand for what we believe in. As a starting point, we are interested in all art forms, but necessarily make our choices based on an assessment of approach, quality, and economy.

Common to which releases will be under the name Helicon is that they all must be assessed on the basis of criteria of relevance and compatibility with our line. Helicon's goals is that our publications must have a clearly understandable expression, and be the result of a focused vision. It is a prerequisite that the artists and writers we publish know exactly what they will bring out in their art.

At Helicon, we take it as a prerequisite that artists and authors have the copyright to their works, while Helicon has the publishing rights. Helicon is run by a day-to-day creative management, an administrative management, and a board of directors. The board is elected from among Helicon's artists.
