Det er med stor stolthed at Helicon præsenterer sangskriveren Kasper Guldberg, en sand digter som også er en dygtig guitarist og komponist.
På EP'en 'This side of Greece' præsenter Kasper en markant stil som sangskriver af en art vi ikke har paralleller til i Danmark. Der er spor af forbilleder som Leonard Cohen, Ray Davies, Bob Dylan, og John Lennon, men Kasper er alligevel helt sin egen. Kaspers sange leverer sine sørgmuntre betragtninger over sit eget liv i et både sprogligt og musikalsk højt niveau.
Udover Kasper medvirker Mikkel Calum fra Studie 70 på bas og amerikanske Wesley Mitchell Spyke på percussion.

It isn't often a weary-worn worldly soul feels comfortable enough to come in from the cold, the rain, the loneliness, the despair, the gutter, the dog-eat-dog struggle, the long, tiring journey that can grind us all down and instantly recognize a kindred spirit simply by the strum of a chord. But that's exactly what it feels like to hear Kasper play.
He himself is an ageless agent of the arts, a wandering minstrel lost in time who seeks to find redemption as much as the audience seeks to themselves in a style crafted from near-mythical experiences and humanitarian piety.
He has walked the long mile and he still gives a damn, devoutly singing and strumming the spell of the streets: of love and loss and longing and life - a poet who has penned anthems indelibly etched in the annals of our maudlin minds and the sentiments of our homesick hearts.
His is a soul of unapologetic passion and his music invokes the gods of grace to forgive us once again as we huddle around this candlelight of warm vulnerability and attempt to stave off the hungered darkness just one more night.
